Bongs
Much like our pipe inventory, our collection of bongs is changing constantly!
Here at Wild Impulse, we are an authorized dealer of the following glass companies:

Bongs come in many different shapes, sizes and materials. If you are unfamiliar with bongs, figuring out the difference between each one can be difficult. Below is a list of pros and cons to each bong material. This way, you can make an informed decision before you buy your smoking device in order to ensure your smoking experience is as pleasant as possible!
Glass
Pros: Glass is an incredibly versatile material that can be blown into any shape imaginable. The quality can range from simple, straight chambers, to outrageously intricate in design and vivid in colour. Glass is non-porous, so it does not collect resin as quickly as most other materials. In addition, because glass is also slick, it’s typically easier to clean than most other materials as well. It is tempered so as not to distribute heat, therefore you don’t have to worry about burning your fingers or lips while smoking at your leisure!
Cons: Glass breaks. Some glass devices are thicker than others, but if you happen to be at all accident prone, expect to lose your device to a bump or a fall at some point. Glass also tends to become weaker when its temperature is continously changing from hot to cool, so if you are a heavy smoker, glass bowls may not be suitable for regular use in the long term, as they may break unexpectedly.
Acrylic
Pros: Acrylic bongs tend to fluctuate in popularity, though their one main advantage is the fact that they’re harder to break than the glass bong counterparts. They are relatively inexpensive in comparison to bongs made of other materials, and they are typically quite colourful and uniquely shaped.
Cons: Acrylic bongs tend to become quite smelly if the water isn’t changed on a regular basis. Most have aluminum bowls which will affect the taste of the smoke, as well as cause the rubber seals to warp over time due to the regular temperature change of the metal. These bongs also require specific acrylic cleaner.
Ceramic
Pros: Ceramic bongs certainly trump pipes in the sense that there is that added benefit of your smoke being filtered through water during smoking. These bongs are also more fun in shape in comparison to other bong materials due to being made from a mould, and more vibrantly coloured due to them being hand painted.
Cons: Like acrylic bongs, ceramic bongs typically have an aluminum bowl which affects the taste of your smoke. Since ceramic is a porous material, it can be difficult to clean and keep clean. Because you cannot see inside to determine whether or not your bong water is sanitary, ceramic bongs require more regular maintenance than bongs made of transparent materials.
Again, this is just a breakdown of a few of the most popular materials we sell here at Wild Impulse. These days, as long as something is fire-resistant and can be crafted into a pipe shape, chances are it’ll make a pretty cool smoking device. We encourage you to come check out our ever changing collection. We guarantee there is something in store for everybody!
